Easy Mode Vs. Hard Mode

Quote of the Week:
"There are no points for playing on hard mode. Just like a video game, you can influence the degree of difficulty before the game begins. Over the long term, the average person who puts themselves in a good position beats the genius who constantly finds themselves in a poor position." - Shane Parrish
Content of the Week:
Are you playing life on easy mode or hard mode? I recently heard this concept from Shane Parrish and I love it. It prompts us to consciously choose the level of difficulty in our daily lives. For example, to play in easy mode, we can take simple actions like, going to bed on time, planning out the next day or skipping that tempting glass of wine. These seemingly small choices make the next day smoother and more productive (i.e., easy mode). Conversely, when we chose to play in hard mode, we neglect these healthy habits, which lead to a more difficult tomorrow.

Whether you play in easy mode or hard mode, it's still possible to achieve your goals. While some glorify excelling in hard mode, personally, I prefer to play life in easy mode. I've found that setting myself up for success each day not only makes the next day easier, but it also aligns with my long-term well-being and happiness.
Big Question of the Week:
Are you consciously creating a life of ease or are you inadvertently subjecting yourself to unnecessary challenges?
Challenge of the Week:
Decide on one habit that can help you play on easy mode. Complete that habit every day next week.

During my alcohol-free year I'll be exploring non-alcoholic options! These Coronas were actually pretty good. If you have any non-alcoholic drink suggestions for me, shoot me a message!
Till next week, be kind, be curious and enjoy the holidays!
