Quote of the Week: "Fear doesn’t control us by dominating our emotions. It controls us by quietly convincing us that our comfort is more important than happiness" - Mark Manson Content of the Week: Are you afraid of failure? If you are reading this you are probably a high achiever which means you haven't failed much in your life. Rate yourself on a scale from 1 (love failure) to 5 (terrified to fail). If you are a 3 or above, this is for you. If you are 1 or 2, nice job! Next ask yourself how often you put yourself in a position to fail. If you aren't answering "daily," why not?

Every successful person has one thing in common, they have failed at some point. It's part of the process. To substantially grow, you have to put yourself in a position where failure is an option. You might not fail the first time, or the second, or even the tenth, but eventually if you keep trying to grow, you will fail, and that's ok. You're in good company.
If you are afraid to fail, yet you know it's a necessity to grow, what do you do? Just like anything else, you start small and you practice. When was the last time you failed? When was the last time you put yourself in a specific situation with the possibility of failure? This week, put something on your calendar where there's a chance you fail (or at least look foolish). Then journal on how it felt. Was it as bad as you thought? Did you learn anything? Challenge of the Week: Put something on your calendar this week where there is a high likelihood of failure.

Photo of the Week: Last weekend my step brother, Cyril, got married! It was a beautiful weekend filled with love, dancing, hiking, and wood-burning saunas. Congratulations Cyril! Till next week, be kind, be curious and work hard. Tanner
