Quote of the Week: "The most invisible form of wasted time is doing a good job on an unimportant task." - James Clear Tanner's Thought of the Week: "Work smarter, not harder." How many of you have heard this expression? This concept has been plastered across social media. It's the perfect hook. Who wouldn't want to make more money, while working less. About 3 years ago, this concept hooked me. I became fixated on Tim Ferriss's, 4 Hour Work Week. It seemed like the answer to everything. The only problem was, I was trying to skip over the work harder part and go straight to the work smarter. While I became so focused on all the tips and tricks, I started to forget about where Tim Ferriss came from. Tim worked 100 hour work weeks for years to build a business. All of this work became the foundation that enabled him to work smarter.

The reality is, in order to work smarter, you first need to work harder. You need to spend the time learning the basics, identifying the leverage points, and then developing the systems to reduce the work. Work smarter, not harder is not a tradeoff. Instead it's sequential and should be rephrased work harder so you can work smarter.
Challenge of the Week: Work harder gets a bad reputation because many people aren't focused. They get bogged down by meetings, emails, etc. and they work long hours, but they only put a few of the hours towards the most important tasks. This week's challenge is to identify the most important tasks and put your most productive hours (for me that's 6am-9am) towards those items. Content of the Week: https://www.acquisition.com/training/ If you are looking to learn more about creating offers and generating leads, I would highly recommend you check out the trainings on acquistion.com. Alex Hormozi does an incredible job breaking down how to create a "$100M offer" and several ways to generate leads. The best part, it's all free! Check it out.

Photo of the Week: One of the silver linings of being home is I can visit my grandma!! She loves when we stop by and take her to the gardens around her nursing home! Till next week, be kind, be curious and work hard. Tanner
